I am a new member to the forum and would appreciate advice on buying an aftermarket fuel pump for my 2001 Volvo V70 XC AWD.
Per my mechanic, I will need the following Volvo dealer parts:

• #30761743 pump unit 113 $476.20
• #9183708 O-Ring 101 $24.28

I found the following aftermarket options on rockauto.com:

• Spectra Premium #SP5036M Fuel Pump $149.79
• TYC #150317 Fuel Pump $89.99
• URO Part #9183708 Fuel Pump Gasket $5.64
• BEC/ARNLEY Part #1524004 Fuel Pump Gasket $6.57
• Spectra Premium LO194 - Fuel Tank Lock Ring $35.89

Which options would you recommend? Thanks in advance for all your input!

 

For vital and hard to replace parts, I personally stick with suppliers listed on Volvo friendly web sites like FCP Euro, IPD USA etc and read up on their review of OEM vs aftermarket for that part. For example, FCP lists a Bosch fuel pump for $150.. not sure who makes the Spectra brand.
