Fuel system nightmare

Fuel system nightmare
Please offer any advise.
My 2005 s60 2.5T has terrible power drop off on acceleration and often stalls now. Codes and a fuel pressure test show terribly low pressure.
So far my tech has replaced:
ignition coils-volvo part
ETM/gasket-volvo part
Fuel pump/filter (after market part by airtex)
Fuel pump control module-volvo part
Fuel pressure sensor - volvo part
Intake manifold gasket and 4 breather hoses-volvo part
gas tank has been inspected for debris and is clean
After all of these repairs, the car ran beautifully for about an hour. Then when trying to accelerate around a truck, the car hesitated, jerked a few times and then kicked in. Over the last few days, it has gotten progressively worse to where it now stalls at cruising speeds with cruise control on and off. Original problem still persists, and my tech wants to replace Airtex fuel pump with Volvo part. Will this really make a difference? Is there anything we are missing?
I'm $2300 into this and the new fuel pump will be another $560.

Theoretically, if the Airtex aftermarket fuel pump has been found to be ineffective in solving the problem and the use of a new Volvo fuel pump does resolve your issues properly, surely you should be able to claim a back credit against the OEM pump leaving you liable for the cost difference only between the 2 pump versions??

Yes thats true thankfully. In fact it turns out the Volvo part is cheaper. Im am on my third mechanic. This one specializes in Volvo repairs. I think he gets a better parts price based on volume than my local guys I started with. This will be my 3rd fuel pump and my car has been in the shop since mid February. If this fixes it, I sure spent a lot of money on parts and labor I didnt need
