I've owned everything from a 122 to an 850 wagon (skipped over the 7xx) but I haven't owned a Volvo for probably 10 years now. I usually get wagons and enjoy driving manuals and there aren't many of that combo around.

I'm facing a few shoulder surgeries later this year so I needed something that has an automatic (my other 6 vehicles are manuals) so I went looking for another 850 wagon.

They are pretty much gone around here (SW Ohio) so I went for a 2006 V70 wagon with the 2.4 engine and a known timing belt change that has just been gone through by a local second generation Volvo only shop. It's not a show winner by any means but it seems pretty solid.

I honestly know nothing about anything on a V70 so I'm sure I'll have a lot of questions and I'm looking forward to learning more about it.

 

I love the wagons too. I'm well versed in the P-2 Chassis Volvo Cars which includes the V-70 2000-2007. So if you have questions, I'd be happy to lend a thought.
