Bad auto dim mirror 2001 S60I watched a couple of you tubes and they removed the glass in both the new and old and put the new glass on the old board rather than just replace the entire old unit with the new replacement. Made me think there was something about having to stay with the same board that came with the car, even though that was never stated. Having to do the glass switch would make it more complicated. Is this necessary. Thanks
