Default bittersweet- my first volvo, c30

I purchased my first volvo.. ever.. a c30

Todayl I was about to pick it up from the dealership, I noticed the left front alloy wheels is severly damaged, the whole half of the lip is entirey chipped off.

They say they are gonna replace it. How can I know it will be replaced and not just repaird?

You can't really repair it, it would have to be replaced. I'd be curious as the new owner how it happened? Did it impact a curb that hard? Is the tire damaged (sidewall) did it fall off the ramp?

Actually before signing the papaer works, everything was fine, the car was inside the show room but could not drive it home that day as I drove with another car to the dealership that day.

There's absolutetly no scratch in the tire. Still smooth and black evenly. Its just the outermost lip of the rim.

The next day the damage is there already. And the car is already out in the lot. So somebody mustve scrape it. I hate my self for not taking it with me the first day.

Any way, no body admuts fault and they just repair the rim. They did a good job though but I still hate them.
