Unhappy Code P0342 No spark Help please

I am at a loss. Volvo S80, 1999 2.9l (non turbo). Message came up Low coolant, put a little coolant in it. Put on new rotors and brake pads and two days later the car cut off while driving and will not crank. I am almost positive that the coolant and pads have nothing to do with it.
I got code P0342 (CMP Sensor low) . I did a hard battery reset, checked fuses, replaced the plugs, replaced the CMP sensor, Crank shaft sensor with stillno luck. While installing and working on these I noticed two issues. The timing belt looked loose and the Engine Ground cable (31/44) was not connected to anything.

Is this much space normal in a timing belt? Where does this ground cable connect? What else should I check?

Default timing belt, ground/earth cable

Re the timing belt, the engine is probably damaged, bent valves etc. Large repair. Re the ground/earth cable, it should be bolted to your engine. If it is bolted to your engine and flapping loose, bolt it to a good earth point on the body. I am also a newbie on these forums but at 71 years of age have learned a thing or two about cars.
