I have a 2017 Volvo XC90.

This vehicle has Volvo's start/stop technology. On 2019 models Volvo lets you disable this technology. Volvo is now letting customers do a software update that disables the technology on 2018 models. So far, no love for the 2017 models though. My question is, forgetting Volvo is there a way I can disable stop/start on my own?

Related, the software in my XC90 boots up fairly slowly and it can be quite annoying. It is my understanding this is the number one complaint people have about the XC90. Can I buy a new processor to run the system?
