Hi all. My very first car at 16 years old was a 1990 Volvo 240. I fell in love with that car instantly and have been obsessed with Volvos ever since. I remember getting into one accident in my first Volvo and the other car literally bouncing off the driver's side door and leaving a mere small dent. When I got rid of my first Volvo, it had 330,000 miles on it.

I lost my way over the next few years and drove a Dodge Avenger and then a Toyota Corolla. Then I lived in Chicago for 6 years and didn't drive.

Now, I'm living in Atlanta and just yesterday purchased a 2011 Volvo S40 T5 with 27k miles for just $17,200. I thought that was an excellent price for such an amazing car!! As far as I can tell, it's about 3-4k under KBB value (if anyone pays attention to KBB value anymore). Anyway, I had forgotten how much I love those heavy Volvo doors. I love feeling like I'm in a little tank. The feel behind the wheel is like no other car. I'm so happy with my purchase.
