Default finally back

Well it's been four months, but I finally got to drive the 850 again and remembered why it was an "impulse buy". It's just a great car to drive. Couple questions though. When I play cassettes, they don't seem to have the same audio qualities as the radio, just the tapes? Also I plan to get a boost gauge and the CAI from IPD since I finally got some extra money, any thing special I should know about these before I order them? Thanks all.

The tape players have poor quality on these radios. You can try using a head cleaner and see if it helps some.

do you think a tape adapter for a portable cd player would have the same quality, or should I just pop for the cd changer?

Nothing beats the quality of the changer.

I agree. Take it from someone who was using a tape adapter and went to a CD changer. No comparison...
