I just got a free '06 s60 to have on the road as a backup. It has 185k and it's in pretty good shape. It's going to be nice to feel safer on the roads. This video was an inspiration years back and now I have one.
I must admit from what i've heard as far as maintenance in the last eight years of the prior owner having this car it's truly unfathomable with every other make i've ever come into contact with. They have had to do barely anything as far as maintenance. I have never paid to have a car fixed other than tires alignment and inspections. I worked in the field for four years and have done side work for ten years mainly for family and friends.

I'm excited to learn this platform because I will buy an s60r with a manual trans but for now I have a fwd auto s60 t5. It is the first automatic i've ever owned in my life.

I hope I stick around and eventually get that s60r. I'm happy to be here, if it wasn't for internet forums I wouldn't have the ability I have today.
