First Volvo - New Member Hello
Hey all - purchased a 2003 XC70 for my youngest son as he gets his license in April. Figured it will be a winter driver/project for me and when it is all sorted, he will get it.
Car has 152k on it and as soon as I got it home, I parked it and did PCV system (including oil pan), plugs, timing belt (including water pump, pulleys and tensioner), and downpipe as I was getting a catalytic efficiency code. I have a lift in the garage and a bitchin set of tools - so I am the bumper to bumper warranty.
User name is because car is gold and when I was driving it home after purchasing, FM radio was all static for about 50 miles until I was about 5 miles from home and the first clear song that came on was 'Darlene' by Led Zeppelin
