Greetings from Cape Town
Greetings all, thank you for the opportunity to join this forum!
I've just returned to Volvo after last driving my father's '74 Volvo 164E in the early 80s, we've just brought home our 'new' 2010 XC90 3.2 AWD. I'm impressed by the smooth auto box, the powerful brakes and the accelerator which requires almost no movement to bring on a sweet response of power. The 3.2 engine seems more than adequate, despite the heavy body.
The only thing I'm not happy with is the bone-jarring ride, which I suspect to be worn shock absorbers. How does the XC90 usually feel over rough roads, is it smooth or does one feel every road irregularity?
