Hi all,

The cable snapped on my V70 2012 drivers outside door lock handle. Lock still working inside with handle and with remote. Just needed to lean in via another door, or open window to open door.

So, I changed the cable for a new one, now drivers outside door handle works. However, only when the car is unlocked. As soon as I lock the car, it will only open with the inside handle first, then the outside handle will work every time, until the cars locked again. Its as if the inside handle is releasing something that the central locking is not, in order for the outside handle to work. What has changed, everything else is original.

This has really twisted my head, has anyone had this before?
