headlight wiper motor
Hi all, My name is Ward and I just joined this little family of Volvo owners. I recently received a '95 850 turbo sedan from my sister in NY in 2004. It had 69,000 miles on it when I got it. It now has a tick over 80,000. Never thought much of them til I owned one. 3 words...I Love it! My question: How do you get to the headlight wiper motor to replace it? I got hit. Not hard enough to deploy the "bags" but enough to take out the lights in the RF corner and the headlight wiper. I have all the parts I need to put it back together (Thank God for E-bay!). The wiper motor is the only thing stopping me. Thanks for the help

RE: headlight wiper motor
I did a quick search on volvospeed.com and this is what I found:
HEADLIGHT wiper motor is accessed by opening hood, removing wiper arm, removing corner indicator light (reach behind and release the spring by pulling and lifting it out of the notch) CAREFULLY remove the under headlight trim piece, it just slips out of the clips. Undo the two bolts now visible on the motor unit then pull out from behind and under the headlight assembly. As Chilton would say "Installation is the reverse of the previous steps"
Not sure if it's correct for you car or not.
