Hello everyone! I'm looking at possibly purchasing a 1992 volvo 244 for a daily driver while I work on my Mazdaspeed3 as the newly dedicated "fun car" which is no longer moving (Me and the mad scientist have to rip apart the block, etc, etc...)

So my initial plan was to find a running car for less than $2k, and while beggers can't necessarily be choosers I came across a listing in a local swip swap facebook group which had a 1992 244 for sale. A volvo would be awesome, because (based on my next to zero research) they are resilient and the owners are fanatic about how they are tanks.

Here's the listing, which tells me very little. I'm in communication with the owner and am waiting on him to send me the vin, while also trying to find a place in Jacksonville FL that will take a look at the car for me.

What should I be looking for if I end up taking a closer look?
