Default hey

Volvo's are so sweeet.......
basically my first car at 18 was a s40 1.9 t, bought it used for about 10 grand with 59,000 miles and it was a 2001. i added a big stereo system to it with sub woofers (500 watts, new speakers and a new deck. It was ill. On top of that I used the turbo constantly, and wud put the car in 'L' gear and shift up, i know its bad. Basically you would think i would have a problem? well guess what, i had no problems, and i used the turbo a lot, the car lights were dimming, and you can see how robust these cars are. Well, later i turned around and sold the car for 8,250 without the sound system, it had 75,000 miles on it. So, it retained its value, and i only had it for a year.

After that,at 19, i ended up with another volvo, a 2001 s80 t6, WHAT A DIFFERENCE, so much elegance around me, fully loaded, had 45k mileage, and I got it from the delearship for 18k. Its ice white with black trim, and i love it, the interior is sooo nice! this car is very underated for pickup, has a nice twin turbo which can really move off the line, and knowing how i like speed, i brought it up to 145 mph, and it was smmoooooth!! no vibrations, handling is another plus....for such a big car its greatt...

this is the new system going into my car, powered by a jl 500/1 monoblock amp!!!!!!

The thing im looking for are ideas to revolutionize my t6 is a body kit and other ideas that can spiff up the exterior to add some uniqueness to it...any ideas?

Gordon, great-looking S80. Although not my preference of color. Welcome to the T6 club. It truly is an excellent car. Powerful and elegant at the same time.

thanks!

its a b**** to keep it clean with all the dust that gets on it, i clean every week and a half, and those rims with all that brake dust lol!

its such an 'ill' looking car, and i think its very underestimated for how fast it is!( you can say that with all volvo's though lol)

I had the same problems. So much dust and brake dust and such. I finally got around to cleaning it periodically (until I leave it on the street again).

The pictures in my cardomain link are the cleaneset it's ever been.
