Hey everyone... new from IN
Hey, I've had my 1990 Volvo 740 wagon for about 6 months now, and it decided to blow up on me today with 215,600 miles on the odometer. I'm a poor college student, and can't afford mechanics, so I'll be searching for a lot of advice.
Sorry about the problem
.
Hop over to either the 740 forum or General Volvo Chat. I understand being a poor college student; I have been there...twice!
I would check the maintenance record (if available ) on the car and go after all fluids, filters, tune-up items and other items that wear out (brakes, tyres, etc...). You may think the OEM parts are expensive, but the previous owner neglected them, hence the blow up.
So, try 740 forum/GVC first.
Welcome to the forum.
