Hi everyone. I just bought a 1990 Volvo 240 DL with about 300,000 km for a song. My wife and I needed a 2nd vehicle and I've always heard great things about this car so decided to go for it. It has a lot of mileage but many, many parts have been changed (including the engine).

Anyhow, just wanted to say hi and thanks to the community for providing this type of support. I'm also a linux user and am very familiar with the great communities that can develop around superb products.

 

Welcome to the forum. You can't go wrong with the 240, which is why you definitely picked a great car for a 2nd car. Also, it is very easy to work on too.
