just bought a 93 940! 205k miles
Hey guys, thought id introduce myself, im Tom from over in NH, i just bought a 93 Volvo 940 sedan, has 205,000 miles on it, runs like a top. I included a few pics! Im doing the front and rear rotors (brembo, hopefully a good choice) and pads myself this weekend, any pointers on that?...im sure its like any other car. Any quirks i should be in tune with? the timing belt was just replaced. A friend that just sold her 90 740 just gave me 4 new winter tires, i guess there the ones special ordered from the dealer. Im hoping it will give me a few good years of service, not really looking forward to the winter with rear wheel drive though.
cheers,
Tom

Welcome. Nice car. I have a 745t and it has 253000miles and still running like a new car. I wish it snowed in Cali, rear-wheel drive in the snow would be awsome
. Changing the rotors and pads on that car is pretty simple. Just remember to have jack stands
, and properly bed the new pads and rotors or you will "warp" them really fast.
