Happy New 2009! I am new here and relatively know very little about cars. I hope I can learn a lot from all you experts here. I drive a 2005 Volvo XC70 with over 50,000 miles, and expect it will last for many many more years.
Happy New Year and welcome to the club.
50,000 miles is nothing for a Volvo, but if the timing belt has not been changed within the last 70,000 miles or 5 years, I would replace it NOW.
TLC, follow scheduled maintenance and know what common problems are there for the V70.
