I just purchased a 2002 Volvo S60. The only trouble is that the car did not have a CD player, only a cassette player. I've purchaed an HU-613 on eBay to replace the HU-413. The seller said that it was "easy" to install/swap radios on a Volvo. Well ............ it's not so easy from my perspective. I don't know how to get the HU-413 out of the dashboard. I have removed the hex-screws from the climate-control box under the HU-413. However, it won't come out and I do not see how to get at the HU-413 hex-screws. Can anyone help me? Once you removed the screws under the climate module you have to slide the top of the climate module out.

But once you install the new radio you might not have steering wheel controls or even sound.

You might have to go to the Dealer for a software download to make it work.
