Hey whats up! Just getting in to the whole Volvo thing. I have been driven my 88 240 DL. And just bought a 82 240 GLT Turbo as a project car. So I will be looking for a lot of tips.

 

Thanks for the welcome, this photo is of my 1999 v70 diesel, in five years i have had it the only thing that has gone wrong is three new light bulbs, apart from normal maintenance that is, today it is in the workshop for a new starter motor, just love this car been round the clock once but still motors on and on

 

Turns out it was not the starter motor but new glow plugs were needed, now runs like new!

Nice to see you got her running so well. I wish we had Volvo Diesels here in the states. I would buy one up in a heart beat.

I like the caravan also. Looks like it would be fun to have in the summer. Just make sure the guys from Top Gear don't get there hands on it.
