Just a few quick tech questions...
Pfft, who reads sticky posts anyways.
No hello, my name is Rob, I have loved volvos for a long time, I was really hoping to buy a S60R this coming up spring but a suprise car accident http://bailbonded.com/crash_gallery/ forced me into a fixxer upper 1997 volvo 850 t5.
I have joined this forum to hopefully learn, meet some new friends, and I just thought I would pop in and say hello fellow volvo lovers, and hopefully with some guidance, my volvo will be running mean in no time.

Well this didnt last long, the car is already gone :-/ It seems one of the raiator hoses came loose on the highway, and the water came out so quickly it didnt have time to alert the temp guage of the raising heats. The car then overheated and stalled. the timing belt and everything look fine but it appears the engine has no compression
So... should I pay to have a new engine put into it, or should I just part it out for all the good stuff that was in it?
