I dont have a code for the audio system.... the last owner had some leftover codes ... a bunch of them... i tried a few of them .. and neither work... I couldnt try the rest... cause the audio just shuts off... and when you turn it on it says OFF ... I figured it's a security measure.. .but how do I get it back up...

someone told me to unplug the battery and re plug it... will that do?

 

No it won't.
Pull the radio and stop by the local Dealer and have them look it up by the serial #.

 

In order to reset the radio so that "off" goes away you have to turn the keys to position 1, and let it set for i beleive 2 hours exactly.

 

That's how my Acura was also.
