My volvo v40 t5 2014 is said to have problems with its springs and suspension mounting when i went for my last free service. The dealer said that i need to replace both . In the begining i did not feel any difference but lately the car is unable to maintain the line when taking a corner. I need to downshift and use the torque to keep the car in the intended line. Yesterday i changed the steering setting from medium to high and instantly the suspension became tight. Does the problem lie in the suspension or the steering force modulator. I have already done balancing and alligment of the wheel. Also the dealer said that my gearbox mounting bush is cracked and need replacement. Can it be the gearbox bushing lax that is interfering with the handling. Has any v40 owner in this board experience a similar problem before.
