I searched the forum, but could not find an answer for this. Found answers to other things, but not this.

I have a '98 S70 with power driver seat. It seems to be loose, but I can't isolate where. The connection to the floor is solid, the rails are not damaged, but somewhere there is a loose joint that I can not find. The only way I know how to describe it, is that the seat and seat back seem to move 1/4" or so every time I accelerate or brake.

Any suggestions?

 

There was a Tech Note about installing a small shock between the seat and the track to help with that problem.
