In the market, but...
I'm in the market for an awd mid-sized sedan. Volvo's exterior styling is quite attractive across the lineup. At the moment, I'm considering either a V60 or S60 and yes, I know they aren't out yet. However, Volvo has almost standardized things across all lines (not a bad thing). My questions is for those of you who have recently purchased an S90 or V90 and how happy you are with the vehicle. It is difficult to get information on fairly new cars, and many times only the worst gets reported.
That being said, I tend to keep cars for an average of 7 years and while I don't mind spending good money on a premium car... I don't want to get killed with out-of-warranty issues ala BMW.
I'm also considering a Genesis vehicle, while not as eye-catching does get stellar reliability ratings. Thanks, and if I forgot some of the basics, then I'd be glad to fill in the blanks. Btw, I guess I should also ask what other cars people considered.

I have been selling used Volvos for 20 years, successfully. They are not complicated. They are very easy to service and share many parts and technology.
No one here is going to talk you into buying a Volvo. It seems to me that you already have your mind made up. If you were not impressed with your 850 (which went out of production 20 years ago), perhaps you should consider another model.
Best wishes with your vehicle search.
