My name is Ragtop
Howdy! Introductions, I have had Volvo's in and out of my life for the past 40 years. Just out of high school a friend had a S122 4 dr, there were not too many places we could not take that car. 1982, first Volvo 244 DL great car, nice color but the family was growing. 1984, second Volvo 245 DL silver station wagon 4 spd. w/overdrive. Now the family was traveling in style. Work got tough and we had to let the wagon go. 16 years went by when I found a 84 244 DL with 72000 original miles, my 15 year old daughter would have her first car. I was told children do not have an appreciation for their car when they are young. My daughter had an accident but the Volvo did it's job before going to Volvo heaven.
Another 10 years have gone by, grew out my muscle car stage, grew out of my ****** stage and I needed to find my wife another convertible, we purchased a 2010 C70 last week.
The mods will come slowly, probably a KN filter charger, change the head lights for more light, find a spare tire to fill the hole in the trunk.
