Need help replacing A/C belt

I just replaced my A/C compressor on a 2012 S60 T5. I am having trouble putting the stretch A/C auxiliary belt back on. It a different belt than the one that goes to the alternator. Is there a special tool or trick?

Volvo has a special tool that bolts to the front of the pulley and helps you "roll" the belt on. I've never replaced one so don't know if it can be done without that tool.
