Default Need a VIDA vin lookup.

Hi I'm new to this volvo scene. Long story short the wife wanted an xc90. I found one cheap that sounded fine yet lost all oil pressure on the way home right when I floored it. Engine B5254T2. The oil pan was full of metal so I bought a junkyard engine with a 6 month guarantee and supposedly 104,xxx miles. My friend carfaxed the donor cars vin and the mileage is reported as 194,xxx. Now I'm trying to decide what to do about this. Before I call the junkyard I want to see if the donor car vin that the yard provided actually matches up with the serial number on the engine. Donor car vin: YV1SZ59H841161274 Thanks in advance!

Thanks that number matches this engine. I pulled the cam cover. The cams and journals look good enough although i caught a clogged cam journal oil feed hole. The last journal to get oil on the intake cam (trans side of engine.) I figure I should drop the oil pan to have a gander as well....check the pickup tube and for sludge. Service the PCV system. The original engine died randomly when I floored it and I certainly don't want that to happen to the replacement engine. Any advice is appreciated. The engine is a B5254T2 2.5 5 cyl turbo in an 04 xc90 awd.
