Neutral Safety Switch 244DL
Hi folks,
James here from Montana. My 1987 Volvo Wagon runs good. But I have to re-attatch the Neutral Safety Switch every day. I have a new one on hand. But the old one appears to be in perfect shape. It just keeps coming off the shifter lever from time to time. Any suggestions?

'm in the middle of a head gasket replacement on my car, and I ran into an issue that I’m hoping you can help with. When I loosened the driver's side head, a significant amount of coolant—about a quarter gallon—leaked out. I had already drained the radiator before starting, so I expected a little coolant, but this seemed like a lot.
I’m concerned that some of the coolant might have made its way into the oil. My plan is to finish the job, then flush the oil that's currently in the engine. I’m thinking of using some cheap oil, turning the engine by hand or running the oil pump with a drill, and then flushing the oil again before putting in the good stuff.
Is this normal, or am I overthinking it? The head gaskets were in terrible shape, so I’m surprised I didn’t have more serious issues earlier. Also, is there anything else I should do to ensure no coolant remains in the oil, especially around the main bearings?
Before starting this job, I did an oil change and didn’t see any coolant in the oil, so I’m hoping it’s just a precaution. Any advice would be greatly appreciated! If anyone’s interested, I found this product that might help with flushing the oil.
Thanks!
