Never thought I would own a Volvo
Just purchased my first ever Volvo. As a motorcyclist I have always been averse to Volvos as they seem to have invincible persons aboard who dont see anything smaller then themselves.
Well here I am with a V70 XC cross country 2001 model with 155,000kms on the clock. (purchased 3 days ago) in excellent condition.
Is there anything that I may need to look out for in the near future so as to avert any major issues. I already have Y61/GU 2000 model nissan Patrol with a ZD30 engine which I am looking at a 2nd rebuild.
Any pointers would be nice,
TThanks in advance from the snowy mountains region of New South Wales of Australia.

Welcome to the forum.
First of all, I would check to see all recalls have been taken care of:
http://www.autobuyguide.com/2001/12-...lls/index.html
Then, I would make sure that the timing belt & its related components have been replaced within the last 70,000 miles/5 years.
Enjoy your ride,
