Hey everyone i just got a 1993 940 turbo wagon. Silver with EVERY option available from a "master volvo mechanic." I dropped Three Grand on that silver brick, and it drove beautifully. just has a complete tune-up and I have never driven a better handing car, (amazing for the 178,000 miles) the turbo feels great and it shifts very naturally.
I have never been too mechanically inclined, mostly having never taken the time to try and learn. But I plan to learn and attempt most repairs myself whenever possible.
Luckily I'll get my chance within the first 22 hours.
The bitch wont start.
Turns over, pulled the plugs, has good spark,
checked the OBD1 sensor and had an all clear code.
pulled the fuel line and cycled the motor, shot fuel out the line.
fuses all okay.
couldnt tell if the fuel pump relay was working so I ordered a new one. I hope that is it.
BUT I still love this car, and once I can get it running soon, I will be on here upgrading away and learning all I can.
