i bought the 850 cause i always wanted one couldnt find a turbo 5 speed so i settled for a automatic. Not sure if it was a smart choice its got 122k on the clock and i notice when the tank is above full the car stalls and dies a lot once its below a half tank it drives beautifully. is it time for a fuel pump or what can i replace all i have to do when it dies is park it let it sit for a second then it starts up again.

 

What year is the car? I think there is/was a recall for some 850 fuel problem. It sounds like there is some kind of wire issue going into the tank, maybe shorting out the pump or something.

i looked really deep into the issue apparently its a fuel pump relay that can cause the problem well see if that cures it if not im gonna have to pay for the mech.
