Hello gang,

I'm Jamie, I'm 25 from Michigan, and over the summer I purchased an S60R with about 57,000 miles. I don't know much about cars, but this vehicle is my motivator to learn as much as possible. Having driven 10 year old SUV's for the last 8 years of my life, I thought it was time to buy something awesome that I would feel obligated to care for and learn about. I test drove a few Volvo's, discovered the R-series, and had to get one. And here I am... trying to self-educate on at least the basics of caring for an awesome, super powerful vehicle.

I just sold my 04 S60R and I have to say that I miss it. If you have any questions about yours, let me know. I had all the work on mine before I let it go.

One thing I want to mention is that if you don't know much about the maintenance history, I would do a good stage 0 to the car. If you do a search on the forum, you will learn everything you will need to know.

Lastly, if you have any pictures, please share them.

 

Thanks for the support, gang. I just ordered the 2011 VIDA discs off of ebay to get a handle on some of the maintenance and inner workings of the vehicle. Attached is a picture of the whip... I friggin' love driving it.
