Although I'm new to this forum, my wife and I have been driving Volvos for 24 years. Our cars have included a '79 242GT, '84 244DL, '84 760Ti, '85 245DL, and my current '99 V70-GLT.

I'm currently looking for a newer Volvo to replace the wife's very tired old 244 (I'm getting tired of working on it), and would really like to find her a 1999~2000 non-turbo S70. In my quest, I've discovered that the V70 model seems to out number the S70 by about 20:1. Are the S70's that rare?

Welcome to the forum, I believe others would be able to tell you the rarity of S70 than I could. Or, if you can post a thread in the S70 forum or General Volvo Chat, you would receive better answers.

Welcome. I see a lot of S70's around my area. It might be that people are holding onto them and that's why you don't see as many for sale.
