New to Group, Volvo & Hybrids
Just brought home our new XC60 Recharge. First Volvo & first Hybrid.
Two initial newbie questions.
1) For now just charging in our detached garage in a regular 110V plug, and first night charged it up from empty to full in plenty of time for morning commute. That setup should be fine for now. Simple question, is it wrong or very wasteful to leave the charging cable plugged into the wall always? Plug is up high, and would be much easier to leave it plugged in, then just plug the other end into the car when we come come, rather than have to plug & unplug both ends.
2) Despite assurances from the dealer that the car would come with a spare tire, it did not, just one of those inflator & patch kits. Seems that's not that unusual these days, and I've almost never had to use a spare tire on the road. Question: How do people deal with this arrangement? Is it worth practicing with the inflator, or in a pinch can I just rely Volvo On Call or AAA to bring me out a spare?
Most other issues such as understanding all the center controls and how the various keys/profiles work, I figure I'll figure out in time.
Happy to be a Volvo owner. The car is beautiful.
