Officially a new guy to the forum! I’ve been nosing around looking for things to help me with issues I’ve had with the car I bought last year. It’s a 2005 Volvo V50 T5. Gotta say I love the car, I just can’t keep it running haha. Anyway, I’m a 37 year old single dad to four kids. I’m a nurse by profession and a mechanic/woodworker/outdoorsman by heart. Of course everything I know mechanic wise I’ve either taught myself or have been YouTube certified. I’ve had no catastrophic issues yet so I think I’m doing pretty good! For instance, this car needed the timing belt done as one of the cams had jumped a couple teeth on the belt. FCP Euro has a full kit and a complete step by step video on the work. Bam got it done no problem. My biggest thing is that I involve my kids anytime they want to get involved. That’s with all my past times.
