Default New guy on the block

Wanted to post up here saying hi and stuff. I'm Dan and you can find me around the Portsmouth, NH area. I finally got to pick up my 2007 S60 2.5T AWD today. I was leasing an 2008 Mitsu Lancer GTS with all the tech toys. I got into a new living situation and my long 4 year lease was a dumb idea. I had been looking at cars to buy for a little while now to turn in my lease car and own something. I had been looking at cars like new GTI, new Mitsu Ralliart...stuff that was AWD and/or turbo with respectable MPG. I went to a dealer looking to test drive a used 09 Mitsu Ralliart, it was sold though. They did have a 07 S60 AWD. The thing was turbo, AWD...and was fully loaded and looked awesome in Black with the black leather and all the sweet options. I took a test drive and got them to work some numbers. Needless to say I bought the car but, I never thought I would be driving a Volvo, but looks like the Swedes make a mean car ;-).

I've already had the itch to look at mods, with the money I don't have to spend on them yet ;-P. Looks like these cars respond fairly well to just doing an intake upgrade, catback and a tune...which is nice.

Happy New Year & welcome to the club.

NH is a nice state, I like anywhere in the New England region.

Post technical questions in the S60 forum. Moderator Tech & JKS2 will take care of you, as well as other experts in the S60 forum.

Stay warm,

JPN

Welcome. You can mod the S60 and getbetter performance. The mods are not cheap so start saving your money. The S60 forum will give you a lot of direction on what mods to do.
