Just picket up an 86 740 turbo for free! yes free.

Always loved them and finally got one. Saved her from the wreckers!!! lol.

She runs pretty good, body is decient, minimal rust. Needs a little tlc. 227,000km's on the odo. engine runs strong, no ticks or knocks.

Looking forward to reading and learning about these great cars. I'm pretty good with the wrench, do all work on all my cars myself.

Welcome to the forum, I hope you find it helpful in restoring your 740.

Be sure to follow scheduled maintenance, especially the timing belt + pulleys + tensioner, i f so equipped.

I personally like to replace all fluids & filters whenever I buy a used vehicle, as well as all tune-up items + light bulbs.
