I bought my 99 s80 t-6 from my dad after I "watched" it for 2 weeks when he was out of town and fell in love with it. I'm pretty clueless when it comes to fixing up cars and stuff like that, so I can asure you I'll have lots of questions for everyone. I've had the car for about 6 months now and I really haven't had any problems with it. I was wondering if anyone has any easy tips for getting a little more power out of my car. I want to start off slow, and not to expensive , for now. Thanks

I dont know how much there is for the S80, but check "links to sites" in the general forum. Prob start off with a cat-back exhaust, or a downpipe and catalytic converter (they are great for turbos), larger and/or better flowing intake pipes with a better flowing air filter are also good, esp for a turbo.

http://www.ipdusa.com

Check those sites out. There might not be much. However...

-3" downpipe to 2.5" catback system with free flowing CAT and muffler. Like Magnaflow great sound great performance.
-If your upgrading your turbos ever, go 3" downpipe to a 3" catback system.
-K&N panel filter or K&N cone filter on the end of your MAF, unless there is an EST intake then get that. Even though it is pricey.
-ECU upgrade would be an idea as well. RICA, IPD, EST, Upsolute, Speed Tuning USA. Check these companies out for an ECU upgrade. RICA and IPD are the most exspensive, but well worth the investment. VPTuning is your RICA dealer. Upsolute is about $425 and Speed Tuning USA is $325, but a very good ECU upgrade IMO. I love mine.

Also for exhaust systems, I suggest you go with a local muffler shop that can do mandrel bends. It will be cheaper then any pre-fabbed versions. But if you got the cash go for it.

Close, single turbo 300 hp/295 lb-ft of torque. Some people can never have enough power...and I am one of them[sm=guilty.gif]
