Hello folks: I just found this forum tonight and am also a bit green on computers so excuse any goofs.
The First Volvo I ever drove was a 1957 PV 444 back in 1960. A co-worker had been looking for a Volvo and we spotted one on the street with a for sale sign on it. He bought it. The price at the time was $700.00. What does $700 in 1960 money come out to today in 2005?
After driving it I got hooked and wanted a Volvo also. I bought my first one a '62 122s in '64. I had it for nine years and about 200k. Next was a '66 122 wagon in '71(still have it) Then a '71 140E...Nice car. I had several others and now have a '90 245DL
with over 200K. I have a few electrical problems which I hope to solve via this forum. `Ed
