Hello, all! I'm new here, and I'm a die hard Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution enthusiast, but I've been loving Volvos as a kid since 2001 (wow, a whole a decade!)
Here's my story:
My Mother acquired a 1993 Volvo 850 GLT over 10 years ago, and I loved that car. It was passed down to my oldest brother three years later, after my Mom got a gold, 2001 S80 T6 (which was totaled by the second oldest in an accident involving another car). He owned it until September of 2006, when he was involved in an accident that damaged three cars--including his--on the freeway, and that completely totaled it. Some time before we got rid of it for good, I pulled out the Econ/Sport button along with other *****, switches, and other parts to keep for memory. Even to this day, I miss the poor, red 850.
Around December 2006 or early January 2007 (I can't really remember, sorry), my Father gave he oldest a green, 1998 S70 (Base) as a Christmas present.
Prior to that, my Father acquired a silver, 2005 Volvo XC90 after trading in his 1999 Chevrolet Tahoe, which was astonishing because he was practically a GM person all his life. HE still drives his XC90 to this day. After the first S80 was totaled, my Mom acquired yet another S80 T6, only it was a Cosmos Blue 2002 model, but she traded it in for a gold, 2007 Cadillac CTS last year, then traded THAT in for a new 2011 Hyundai Sonata earlier this year, which she still owns today.
But anyways, the S70 is the last of the Volvo sedans in our driveway. It stopped working last year for reasons unknown, which is why I'm here! Hopefully, I will get this thing running and looking good again, and, since I'm really a Mitsubishi fan, I think working on the poor, suffering S70 would be a great project that might give the the knowledge to start on my dream project, which someone else is currently doing.
Thanks, and I hope some people would help!
Sorry for the long, disordered story.

Thanks for the welcome, folks!
Here's the progressing thread of the S70's running issue.
By the way, my name is Tim.
