Newbie from Maine- 3+year owner of a 97 850 GLT sedan with 265k+ miles, od stopped recently working- but car runs great. Actually it's my daughter's car- she bought and paid for herself- though I help her maintain it best I can. She recently got pulled for speeding- 37mph in a 25mph small town, late for work- not paying attention - cop asks for license and registration- walks away- pauses- asks her if 265K is the real mileage, she says yes - he gives her a warning because he didn't feel right issuing a ticket to a car that been through so much.
