Hey everyone, I ended up getting a manual S70t-5 for my first car, and even with 236hp and the extra thrill from shifting, the car has lost the excitement i had when i got it. Ive looked into a few ways to get more power and the easiest and most un-noticeable mod was increasing the boost from 9.7 to 14.9 psi by installing an ECU upgrade. This will give me about a 49hp increase according to www.ipdusa.com. By the way, my parents have told me i cant mod the car so whatever i do cant be easily noticeable. Unfortunately this would cost nearly $800 and i was wondering if there was anyone else who had bought an aftermarket ECU or someone who knew of another way to increase the boost. My friend mentioned possibly using a manual boost controller but im not really sure how those work. Any and all help is appreciated!

 

You can crank the boost a little by removing the Waste gate valve and extending the rod slightly.it will only give you 1lb or 2 but you should notice the diffrence.
