Hey everyone, my girlfriend and I are purchasing our very first car together. Before this she had a scion that her father surprised her with. We are purchasing a 2008 S80 3.2.. it has around 98k miles. My question is does it have a timing chain or belt? I see so many conflicting post on other sites and it has left me confused.. I want to make sure if it is a belt that they have recently changed it.. if it’s a chain I want to know do I need to replace it? Or would regular maintenance do just as well? The last car given to us had a timing chain that ended up failing on us due to the last owners.. thanks in advance!
