Can anybody help me with where to go in the forum to get info on my 97. 850 estate 239,285 mls. In particular info on my ABS light going of intermittently?

The best search results comes from a simple Google search. The search function here works best with single word searches, which is hard to do.

That model usually has problems with their ABS module which starts out intermittent then progresses to steady. Mid-West ABS is a good source for a rebuilt unit.

 

Thanks for your response and advice RSPI. I can only presume from your reference to the mid-west that you are based in the USA. I am located in the North West of England (Lancashire) UK.

I didn't say in my post, that my Volvo was off the road for a year. She was parked in my drive and although I started the engine several times, it wasn't nearly enough and we had a very bad winter. Do you think it will eventually start working normally with continuous use?
