Talking New to the site but not YET an owner...

Hey, the name is Zack and I'm looking at a '99 S70, silver, fully loaded.

Basically I'm here to learn the advantages and disadvantages to owning one of these cars. What are their strengths and weaknesses? Are they easy to maintain? Are they relatively inexpensive to keep in good running order?

Things such as that.

Thanks, in advance and already a very nice website.

Looks really good. Volvo's are not inexpensive, that is a fact. But they run like a tank, looks like a T5? If so, to put it in perspective the engine is still being used today, Ford buys them for their performance Focus's.

Welcome, the car looks great. The only issue I have seen with these cars that is a deal breaker is the ETM issues they seem to have. I would ask the current owner if the ETM was ever replaced. Also, maintenance records are a big plus.
