Default New to Volvo!

Hey all, just picked up a 09 C30 2.4i R-Design. This is my first ever Volvo and really my first time not in a Volkswagen. Just coming off of 3+ years in a 04 Jetta TDI and holy wow what a different experience this has been so far, but in all of the best ways. I mean, everything works on this car!!! Wild! This will be my year-round daily while the Jetta sits on the healing bench. I bought this off a used car dealer, he's had it for a while because manuals are harder to sell, so I snagged it for $4k.

Important things to do in no particular order:
-fix that front lip; purely cosmetic, looks like PO took a curb or small woodland creature something. I'm hoping there's not a crapton of plastic clips that are all busted up in there, but in my heart I know that's probably exactly what is going on.
-figure out tires; safety cert required new tires so they put the finest "Joyroad" winters onto these otherwise pretty good condition wheels. Now to decide if I want to keep running 18" winters and find a new set of summer rims + tires, or sell these tires and get new winter rims + tires and summer tires. I prefer option B but we'll see what the ol' bank account thinks is best. I do *really* like the Midirs on the C30 though....
-really need to look at the sunroof a little closer; default "close" position leave a visible gap. I dicked around with the switch and at least got it so its flush from the outside and convincingly closed from the inside but that's not 100% inspiring.
-a thorough interior cleaning; it's really not bad but the seats look a bit meh.
- ???? this thing is in otherwise great shape so... cool!? I'm not used to this!

Unimportant things I'd like to get to one day:
-LED everything. I have a few T10s kicking around and I'll see where those fit but I'd like to find a list of all the different bulbs, and get the LED equivalents in for both interior + exterior.
-exhaust. 5 cyl engines sound excellent. Not looking for stupid loud, but just something a little more character-y. Not expecting performance benefits.
-maybe a 1 inch lower, MAYBE.
-proper winter mats
-definitely Midirs and proper summer tires
-Nokian winters for maximum fance
-I really want to add some polestar blue little accents, but I'm not sure what or where. Doing the whole thing in blue feels a little too obvious to me, but some little bits here and there... it's a great colour and it makes me happy. I need to think on this one some more, familiarize myself with it.

Anyway, if you read this far.... thanks! Looking forward to some fun times. I already really like this car a LOT.

Hello and welcome to the forum! Congratulations on your Volvo, looks great. A lot of good info here regarding mods in case you are thinking of doing any. Check out some of the garages and you may get some ideas. Good luck with all your plans and keep us posted!
