Default New to Volvo in Florida

I recently purchased 2 used wagons, 01 V70 2.4T and 04 XC70. I noticed both, and especially the XC70 have very high rates of power steering assist. The cars respond to the very slightest input. It almost uncomfortable when driving . Has anyone noticed this?

start by having an alignment done and inspect the tires (consider a front to rear rotation to see if that changes things). if the alignment is off (ie toe out) the car will lose its on-center feel and will "nibble" where the tires track grooves in the road.
